Joe Barton

Senior Physiotherapist

Joe is a physiotherapist with an excellent background in treating sports injuries, he possesses a broad skill set in treating both sporting and non sporting conditions providing individualised management at the highest levels.

When not working at Rob Leather Physiotherapy, Joe works full time for Leicester Tigers as the Head Academy Physiotherapist. He is responsible for the daily management of the Academy and development players atĀ  Leicester Tigers, working closely within a multi-disciplinary team to ensure all players are provided with cutting edge medical care and developed into elite athletes capable of developing into senior professional rugby players

Joe joined the team at Rob Leather Physiotherapy in 2019, working part time in the clinic.

BSc Physiotherapy

currently undertaking an MSc in Sports Physiotherapy at University of Bath

Non-work interests

Passion for all things Sporting- Casual Runner, Terrible Golfer and previously average Rugby Player.

Current Interest in Coffee and perfecting my Flat White Art Work.

 

The Elite Sector

Currently in a Physiotherapist role with Leicester Tigers which combines working commitments with both the Senior First Team Squad and The Academy.
